More than just fashion, it's a lifestyle

Something Blue for Dress Down Look

We know that the holiday season has inspired us in so many ways. I have all the reasons in the world to share what inspired me lately. So today let's share the things that made us better for this new year.

But before that, let me share my dress down look. I've visited high street again and had some photos. I wore a blouse, a pair of light-hued slacks and sandals to feel relaxed and carefree.

It's time for the list of inspiring things, events and places now. Here we go!

1. Someone Like You. I'm talking about the Taiwanese drama series that made a lot of followers laugh, smile and love every now and then.

One of the most important things that I learned in the said TV series is this: "Love isn't a price. It's not a reward for doing all things wonderful for the person you love and for trying to be loved in return. Do you agree? I agree with these wise words because I learned that love isn't something that money can buy. Love is powerful, indispensable and mysterious. It's blind since it has no particular choice by the time it hits someone. You just feel it. If you have been truly loved by someone, celebrate it. You're lucky to found your soulmate in this lifetime.

2. Kendall Jenner. Wow! Why would I include her in this list? And why not. She's one of my favorite supermodels. She has achieved a lot of things in the modeling world because of her amazing talent in fashion and ability to keep up with her dreams. She's always experimenting to reinvent style options for all of us, ladies! She's doing the job for us. I'm always inspired every time I see new style that's shown in her photos.

3. How Successful People Win. I'm talking about the book written by John C. Maxwell. Turn to Page 12. I remember it was all about being humble. The author quoted one of our church leaders named Ezra Taft Benson, saying that, "Pride is concerned about who's right. Humility is concerned about what's right." I learned that successful people accept their failure as opportunity to meet new challenges and to learn a lot of things.

4. Miss Universe 2015 - Philippines - Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach. The reigning Miss Universe inspired a lot of us. Personally, I can say that she won because she has the capacity to charm everyone effortlessly. She has wits and talent that can make the universe share its glory. What are your thoughts about the latest Miss Universe pageant?

How about you? What inspired you lately?
