Villa Pilar in Dapitan City

Our visit in Dapitan City was very exciting and memorable. As I mentioned in my previous posts, I’ve been planning to visit the place again. Now that it happened, I would to share with you the things that I enjoyed during the two-day trip.

But before that, let me share with you that I'm really a fan of many hotels and resorts around the country. I still have to visit many popular travel destinations. One of my favorites is Watercamp Resort in Cavite and it's located near the metro. But it's a different place, for now, I'm going to share the best things in the southern part of the country.

Our travel

We decided to ride a bus in going there. Unlike my earlier visit in the city, where the event organizers rented a bus from a reputable car rental company, we want to experience another ways of roaming around the city.

The hotel

We stayed in Villa Pilar for the trip. The place isn't really grand; it’s just that I’m so familiar with it. It’s spacious and very affordable.

Sunset Boulevard

Since Villa Pilar is located just across Sunset Boulevard, we had a chance to enjoy the beach. Although we didn’t plan to have an hour of swimming in the beach, we still enjoyed the sunset.

The food in Villa Pilar is delicious, affordable and well-prepared. For less than $2, you’ll enjoy breakfast before performing your tasks for the day such as visiting Rizal Shrine, eating snacks and visiting other landmark places.
