Enjoying the Natural Beauty of Dapitan City at Ilihan Hill

Have you been to Dapitan City? It’s the twin city of Dipolog City in Zamboanga del Norte province. I’ve been there four times already. The first one is very memorable because my friend invited me to enjoy a feast celebration in that place. I really enjoyed the trip. We rode a rented bus offered by a reputable bus rental company such as Manila Bus Rentals Philippines  to reach our destination.

The second time I visit Dapitan City is to attend a youth conference that was set up by the church where I belong. It was held in Villa Pilar, a hotel located at Sunset Boulevard.

The third time that I visited the place is when we had a picnic at the fishpond of our common friend together with other churchmates. We also dropped by Ilihan Hill to have a better view of the city and learn some principles taught by the church.

Last weekend, my husband and I visited the place to unwind. It was his first time to roam around Dapitan City. Since I’m already familiar with Villa Pilar, we chose the place to stay for the weekend trip.

We had dinner at a nearby restaurant named Kan-anan and we ordered my favorite barbecue. We also tried their cooked fish with fresh vegetables and spices.

The next day, our first stop is the famous Rizal Shrine in Dapitan City. It was under renovation so we only roamed at the walkway area near the beach. We took a lot of photos and videos there.

Lastly, we dropped by Ilihan Hill because I want my husband to experience the place. It’s a hill overlooking the city. We really liked sightseeing there.
